The Mirage Resorts, Las Vegas, has awarded its $30 million advertising account to GSD&M, Austin, Texas. The resort parted with Publicis & Hal Riney, San Francisco, after a 10 year relationship and most recently the launch of the Bellagio resort. Riney also in March will launch the Beau Rivage on the Mississippi Gulf Coast. Mirage also is considering consolidating the interactive account for all its properties at a single interactive agency. That work currently is handled in-house.
