Miss. picks shops for campaign

The state of Mississippi named a partnership headed by Jackson-based ad agency Maris West & Baker to handle its $12 million to $15 million two-year anti-tobacco campaign. The team includes Crispin, Porter & Bogusky, Miami; Roy Communications, Atlanta; Persaud Bros., New York; and event marketing and public relations companies. The camapign is funded from Mississippi's $4 billion settlement of a lawsuit against tobacco marketers.
