Mobil Oil, Fairfax, Va., consolidated its $60 million national media buying assignment at DDB
Needham Worldwide's Optimum Media, New York. It had been split among DDB Needham (fuels and global brand advertising), Arnold Communications, Boston (convenience stores), and Grace & Rothschild, New York (lubricants). All three agencies and Western International Media, Los Angeles, competed for the media assignment.
