Monster enters $100 million AOL marketing deal

Job site Monster.com agreed to pay $100 million to America Online as part of an exclusive four-year marketing deal. Monster will be the exclusive job-search service across all AOL brands. Separately, AOL launched an affiliate marketing program offering anyone operating their own Web site incentives to sign up for AOL's 5.0 service. AOL is offering marketing support including promotional banners and buttons for the sites, as well as online tools for monitoring site traffic and registrations. Web site owners will be able to join the program at affiliate.aol.com/affiliate/or at keywork: AOLAffiliate.
