Moscow subway takes ads

Published on .

The Moscow subway system started selling advertising space this month for the first time. The 150-station metro system, which is used by 9 million people daily, is accepting advertising in stations, in train cars and on information kiosks. Rates range from $12 a month for a small ad inside a train car to $1,170 per month for a three-square-meter neon sign at a busy downtown station.
