Motorola, Schaumburg, Ill., is launching a $100 million-plus global consumer advertising and promotional campaign in a first effort to tie together product lines including cellular, digital wireless and paging. The first "Wings" TV brand spot breaks Sunday, with music from the Rolling Stones and the theme that Motorola products give customers freedom. A series of 30-second product-oriented ads will follow, along with print, outdoor and direct. McCann-Erickson Worldwide, New York, handles.
