Children's Television Workshop publishing executive Nina B. Link was named president-CEO of the Magazine Publishers of America, New York, effective Nov. 1. She is the first woman to hold the MPA post. Ms. Link, group president-publishing and interactive software for CTW, has been a member of the MPA executive committee since 1994. She succeeds Donald D. Kummerfeld, MPA president since 1987, who previously announced his intention to retire. Ms. Link has also served as a director of the Audit Bureau of Circulations since 1996. executive Tom Kenney and MPA VP-Marketing Christine Miller. No successor to Ms. Link at CTW was immediately named.
