(July 6, 2001) -- McCann-Erickson WorldGroup's MRM Partners Worldwide has acquired custom publishers TPD, London, and its U.S. sister company, Fluent Communications.

Financial terms of the acquisition were not disclosed.

TPD, as a result of the deal, has changed its named to "just customer communication." Both Fluent Communications and just customer communication will operate as independently branded units of The Publishing Agency International, the custom publishing and branded content network of MRM.

Publishing Agency International claims projected capitalized billings of more than $120 million for 2001. The network is composed of Singer Allbrand, a New York custom publisher; vdBJ Communications Group, a publishing agency based in the Netherlands; and Reporter, a custom publisher based in Madrid, Spain. -- Richard Linnett
