MSNBC.com extends reach through local TV affiliates

MSNBC.com is partnering with Internet Broadcasting Systems, a network of local TV station Web sites, to bring news content from 13 of IBS' local channels into the MSNBC.com affiliate network. With the added coverage, MSNBC.com said its affiliate network now can reach more than 90 local TV stations in the U.S. Participating stations include: WBAL in Baltimore; WPTZ in Burlington, Vt.; WLWT in Cincinnati; WXII in Greensboro, N.C.; WYFF in Greenville, S.C.; WGAL in Lancaster, Pa.; KSBW in Monterey, Calif.; WDSU in New Orleans; WKMG in Orlando, Fla.; WNNE in Plattsburgh, N.Y.; KCRA in Sacramento, Calif.; WDIV in Detroit; and KPRC in Houston, Texas.
