MTVi launches supercharged sites

MTVi, the Internet music arm of MTV Networks, goes live Nov. 15 with new versions of VH1.com, MTV.com and SonicNet.com. The sites offer a new look, streaming audio and video, convergence experiences, and will connect music fans around the globe. MTVi also has finished its universal music platform for MTVi's 16 Web sites. MTV Networks, a unit of Viacom, reaches 300 million homes in 80 countries around the world. In 1999, MTV Networks committed $300 million in on-air promotional support for its online companies, including the three upgraded sites.
