General Motors Corp. awarded Mullen Advertising, Wenham, Mass., its first-ever certified used car account. The assignment is expected to grow to $75 million as the program spreads nationwide. Last week, GM had whittled the list of four semi-finalists to two: Mullen and N.W. Ayer & Partners, New York; Ayer handles GM's corporate account. The other semi-finalists were Campbell Mithun Esty, Minneapolis, and TL Partnership, Dallas.
