Cabletelevision Advertising Bureau on Sept. 29 will hold in New York its first Multicultural Marketing & Media Conference, providing research and strategies for advertisers and agencies to reach ethnic audiences via cable.

Association of Asian-American Advertising Agencies, organized earlier this year, has formed seven committees. Research committee chairman is Julia Huang, president of Intertrend Communica-tions, Torrance, Calif.; public service--Eliot Kang, president-CEO of Kang & Lee, New York; media--Greg Macabenta, president of Minority Media Services, Daly City, Calif.; education--Shelley Yamane, VP-strategic services of Muse Cordero Chen & Partners, Los Angeles; events and PR--Lisa Skriloff, president of Multicultural Marketing Resources, New York; Internet--Zan Ng, president of Admerasia, New York; and membership--Wei-Tai Kwok, president of Dae Advertising, San Francisco.
