NAA to set insert standards

Newspaper Association of America said its board approved standards for preprinted advertising inserts under a project known as the Quality Insert Program. The new criteria guarantee minimum standards for distribution capabilities for daily and Sunday delivery, standardized billing and information requirements for media kits. The effort is an attempt to guarantee advertisers better information for making buying decisions.
