NAA turns to Zyman

The board of the Newspaper Association of America voted to hire former Coca-Cola Co. marketing chief Sergio Zyman to develop a branding and repositioning strategy for the industry. Mr. Zyman, now president of his own company, the Z Group, addressed attendees at the NAA's annual convention in San Diego this morning. He promised a national strategy that could be adapted to the local level. The board also voted to redirect money from the campaign created by Della Femina/Jeary & Partners, New York, to Mr. Zyman and other activities. The last flight of the Della Femina campaign starts next week.
