NARB rules against SlimAmerica

The National Advertising Review Board has ruled against SlimAmerica's ads for Super Formula weight loss products. The NARB upheld a ruling by the National Advertising Division of the Council of Better Business Bureaus that there was not a reasonable basis to support ad claims of product efficacy and performance. According to NARB, SlimAmerica, which had appealed the NAD ruling, indicated it would comply with NARB's recommendation to discontinue the ads. The original challenge came from the American College of Nutrition.
