Naviant, a precision marketing company, and MP3.com, an online digital music site, have completed a joint marketing agreement that will bring free music to over 25 million desktops. Naviant will offer consumers who register products using their e-Registration service free installation of an MP3 player, direct access to MP3.com's collection of free music, and the choice of a free CD or other merchandise provided by MP3.com. Under the agreement between the two companies, once a customer registers a product, Naviant will offer the opportunity to receive free gifts from MP3.com, including a free CD and an MP3 player automatically loaded on the user's desktop. Additionally, terms of the three-year agreement involve a substantial purchase of Naviant products, including e-Registration and e-List services by MP3.com.
