(June 12, 2001) --- The NBA's resurgence during the 2001 NBA Finals continues as ratings for the third game between the Los Angeles Lakers and Philadephia 76ers series improved by 24% over last year's Game Three.

The game posted a Nielsen overnight 16.1 rating and 26 share, higher than the 13 rating and 22 share earned last year during game three between the Los Angeles Lakers and Indiana Pacers. The three games in this series are averging a 15.3 rating and a 25 share, up 20% over last year's series. -- Wayne Friedman
