NBA Properties adds new exec

NBA Properties, New York, the marketing arm of the National Basketball Association, named Barry Frey senior VP-marketing and media partnerships, a key post. Mr. Frey was managing director, international sales and new-business development, USA Networks International. While technically a new post, Mr. Frey assumes responsibilities handled by Gary Stevenson, who remains a consultant to NBA Properties. Not affected by the apppointment is Mike Stevens, who oversees the marketing partnerships department at NBA Properties and handles some of the responsibilities to be assumed by Mr. Frey.
