NBC Desktop Video unveiled its first ad-supported business-to-business newsprogram, "Real Estate Weekly." The 30-minute video business news program will bedistributed to RE/MAX's 2,500 real estate offices via the RE/MAX SatelliteNetwork beginning July 24. The program will draw on NBC Desktop Video's ownnewsgathering resources, as well as those of NBC News and other sister divisionsfor news that shapes the real-estate industry. NBC Cable Ad Sales is theexclusive rep. RE/MAX will also place its own promos in the program. Separately,NBC News named Allison Davis, a "Today" producer, as executive producer of NBCNews Online. Ms. Davis will supervise NBC News' participation in the MicrosoftNetwork and will create a new editorial unit that will report and produce newspackages exclusively for NBC News Online.
