Talk City will provide moderated chat and message board services to NBC.com's teen site At the Max, which will integrate content from teen shows "Saved by the Bell: The New Class," "Hang Time" and "City Guys."
"We've had some home-grown bulletin boards and we realized there was a critical mass of teen communicators online and we needed a more robust tool," said Bertina Ceccarelli, executive director of consumer marketing and programming operations.
NBC Interactive Neighborhood, a network of sites for more than 100 NBC-owned and affiliated stations, will also tap Talk City's services.
In an effort to expand its services, Talk City kicks off a free home page program March 10 with a million-dollar interactive ad campaign on NBC prime time programming. Users viewing the ad with WebTV will be able to click directly into a home page-building area of Talk City.
