NBC, NBA team up for women's basketball

NBC has scored the broadcast network rights to the Women's National Basketball League, which the National Basketball Association will launch next June. Under terms of the five-year deal, NBC will broadcast 10 Saturday afternoon games and the championship. The NBA and NBC will both sell ad time and split the revenue. The NBA is said to be selling integrated sponsorships that include TV time, arena signage and promo rights.
