NBC shows its new Web site

NBC on Thursday unveiled its site on the World Wide Web, a mix of news and entertainment programming content, dubbed "NBC httv". The httv stands for "hyper text television" and is a play on the universal Internet address prefix "http." NBC also is offering a screen saver featuring bouncing TVs and various versions of its peacock logo for downloading from an area called Peacock Park.
