NBC unveils Web partners

Published on .

NBC on Tuesday unveiled details of its new Internet service, NBC Interactive Neighborhood, which it will offer to its stations and affiliates nationwide. NBC has formed partnerships with Web sites including Microsoft's Sidewalk, InfoSeek, BigYellow, Realtor.com and Auto-By-Tel, among others, to provide local and national content to Neighborhood members and users. The NBC effort is a direct response to Warner Bros., which is cobbling together a similar network called CityWeb with other TV station Internet sites.
