As expected , NEC Technologies, Itasca, Ill., named Hill, Holliday, Connors, Cosmopulos, Boston, as new agency on the computer peripheral marketer's $15 million account. HHCC bested the incumbent team of Hampel/Stefanides, New York, which handles creative, and former sister agency Houston Herstek Favat, Boston, the media agency; and other finalists Hodskins Simone & Searls, Palo Alto, Calif., Merkley Newman Harty, New York, and Rubin Postaer & Associates, Santa Monica, Calif.
