Nelvana acquires Klutz

Children's entertainment company Nelvana Ltd., Toronto, acquired kids book publisher Klutz, Palo Alto, Calif., for $74 million. Klutz is known for its unique packaging, in which the company pairs an instructional booklet along with a toy. The company made its debut in 1977 with the book "Juggling for the Complete Klutz," which came with three beanbags.
