Nestle drops Brazilian ice-cream brand

RIO DE JANEIRO--Swiss food giant Nestle has decided to drop its local ice cream brand Yopa in Brazil in favor of its global Nestle brand as it seeks to present a unified image of its ice cream brands worldwide. All wrappers, freezers and kiosks as well as newsstands and supermarkets will sport the new name shortly.
