Nestle launches Gold Flakes in Hungary, Czech Republic

PRAGUE/BUDAPEST--Cereal Partners Worldwide, the jointventure between Nestle and U.S.-based General Mills, is launching Gold Flakes in Hungary and the Czech Republic followinglaunches in Poland and Germany late last year.

The Prague and Budapest offices of McCann-Erickson Worldwideare launching the honey-nut cereal with TV commercial adaptations from the network's Paris office, as mandated by the marketer, said Csilla Pal, the Nestle account director at McCannin Budapest.

TV spots and trade promotion for the cereal are already running in the Czech Republic, while in Hungary advertising andpromotion begins in July.
