The agreement will grant Nestle prominent placement of branded products including Nescafe coffees, Nesquik chocolate milk, Kit Kat and Smarties candies and Nestle ice creams at restaurants and boutiques at Disneyland Paris, visited by more than 12.5 million tourists annually.
The new agreement prolongs a commercial relationship between Nestle and EuroDisney that traces its origins to the 1992 opening of the Paris-area amusement park. It also establishes Nestle as one of the principal food sponsors of Walt Disney Studios, a new, cinema-oriented theme park expected to open in 2002 at the EuroDisney complex. -- Lawrence J. Speer
