A Yankelovich Partners study released Wednesday indicates consumers without Internet access would prefer to visit the Internet on a TV by 52% to 31% who would prefer computer access if given a choice. Sponsored by WebTV Networks, the Yankelovich study suggests that survey results indicate these consumers prefer to browse the Internet in a more comfortable and less intimidating way by offering this feature on their television sets.
