NetCreations, a New York-based opt-in e-mail list marketer, acquired InfoPick.com, a site for Internet users requesting information about products and services. NetCreations client lists are primarily composed of technology companies such as AltaVista, CMPnet, LinkExhchange and Entrepreneur magazine. NetCreations will use the InfoPick site as a hub for gathering names in the consumer sector. ``This could be the first of a number of acquisitions we'll make next year,'' said Rosalind Resnick, president of NetCreations. Terms of the deal were not disclosed. InfoPick is owned by Layton, Utah-based Corona Technologies.
