NetGravity reports loss, revenues up

NetGravity reported a net loss of $3.7 million, or 28 cents per share, for the first quarter ended March 31, compared with a loss of $2.8 million, or 93 cents per share, for the first quarter of 1997. Revenue for the quarter was $4.6 million, up 128% over revenues of $2 million for the same period last year. The company issued new stock during the first quarter.

In related news, garden retailer Garden.com has selected NetGravity's AdServer software and AdCenter service to manage its online retailing and direct marketing.
