Netscape, AmEx ink sponsorship deal

Netscape, a subsidiary of America Online, and American Express Co. today announced a two-year, multimillion-dollar sponsorship agreement that will bring American Express financial services to small businesses through the Small Business Channel on Netcenter. AmEx will be a premier sponsor within the Netscape Small Business Channel giving American Express exposure through premier placements, banners ads and ad impressions. For Netscape, the agreement secures a premier sponsor for the Business Finance department, expands services offered to small businesses on the Netscape Small Business Channel and provides incentives to Netscape for generating business for AmEx. Financial terms of the agreement were not disclosed.
