Netscape launches $10 mil ad campaign

In its first consumer effort, Netscape Communications Corp. launches a $10 million marketing and advertising campaign July 20 to drive traffic to its redesigned Netscape Netcenter. Co-sponsors for the promotion and prize sweepstakes include Warner Bros. Online, Paramount Digital Entertainment, Hollywood Online, Sony Electronics and USA.net, which is providing free Netscape WebMail.
