Netscape Communications Corp. signed a deal with Web bookseller and Web music retailer N2K. to set up storefronts on its new Netcenter business online service. Netcenter already lets users buy software from Netscape and others; the new deals are part of an effort to expand the retail offering. The move comes two weeks after rival Microsoft Corp. made Barnes & Noble the exclusive Web bookseller on its sites.
