Netscape targets Netcenter marketing

Netscape Communications Corp., Mountain View, Calif., chose Annuncio Software, Los Altos, to provide software allowing Netscape to do targeted marketing to the 10 million members of its Netcenter portal. Maria Wilhelm, senior VP-Netcenter programming, said Netscape licensed Annuncio Live software to better target, automate, track and analyze online advertising, marketing and promotional campaigns. Netscape plans various one-to-one marketing efforts, including customized newsletters, targeted content and promotions, and member surveys.
