CNET: The Computer Network, San Francisco, said it will have 15 charter advertisers when it launches News.Com on Wednesday. The service reports technology news, with 24-hour coverage on the World Wide Web. NEWS.COM will launch with 15 charter advertisers, including Oracle, Microsoft, Hewlett-Packard, Apple, Lotus, Netscape and US Web. News.Com will be divided into seven sections: The Net, Computing, Intranets, Business News, Perspectives, Rumor Mill and CNET Radio. News.Com is targeted primarily at information systems managers, corporate executives and investors interested in technology.
