Weider Publications' twice-yearly Fit Pregnancy en Espanol makes its debut with a 52-page June issue including advertisers Kimberly-Clark's Huggies, J. C. Penney, Procter & Gamble Co.'s Pampers, Rightstart.com and Target Stores. The publication launches with an initial circulation of 250,000 and will be available on newsstands, at Barnes & Noble and in Spanish-speaking obstetricians' offices in major Hispanic markets. Weider has been publishing Fit Pregnancy since 1993. The English-language version is an every-other-monthly publication with a 500,000 rate base.
Ideas Publishing adds `Motor Trend' to roster
Emap and Ideas Publishing Group have launched Motor Trend en espanol this month as a joint venture in the U.S. and Latin America. The publication follows Teen en espanol, which was launched by the two companies last year. U.S. advertisers include Ford Motor Co., American Honda Motor Co. and Audi of America.
