Cristian Dobles has been named executive creative director of HispanAmerica, New York, a division of Rapp Collins Worldwide. He had most recently been with UniWorld Group as executive creative director and managing director of its Hispanic division. Mr. Dobles, a native of Costa Rica, started his U.S. agency career in 1981 as a VP-associate creative director at Saatchi & Saatchi's Conill Advertising, New York. He held the same post at Young & Rubicam's Bravo Group, before opening independent agency, Adworks, in 1989.
Heineken commercials air in Telemundo music block
Heineken USA is airing two commercials nationally every Friday and Saturday for 39 weeks during Telemundo's "MTV Musicomania" block. The TV spots also will air on Telemundo and Univision affiliates in select markets. Vidal Partnership, New York, created the ads. One spot, titled "El arroz con pollo" ("Chicken with rice") features a woman who pours her husband's last Heineken into her special recipe. The other, titled "El amor platonic" (Platonic love), shows a group of young men, after serenading the owner of a corner store, receiving a case of Heineken as thanks.
SoloElla.com to develop radio, outdoor campaign
LatinForce.net's SoloElla.com (For Her) plans to launch a radio and out-of-home campaign in July. The bilingual Web site, which launched last week, carries content geared to Hispanic women. Lumina, New York, handles media buying and Activo Net handles

Other Galavision moves include Patty Marrero to national sales director from sales director for the East and West regions; Mike Rocha joins the network as exec producer of "Contaco Deportivo" to air in the fall. Previously, Mr. Rocha was executive producer for the sports-news program, "Sportsmania." . . . Zan Ng, chairman of Admerasia, New York, will receive the Asian American Supplier's Council Entrepreneur Award, presented by the U.S. Pan Asian American Chamber of Commerce, at the May 13 "Excellence 2000" ceremony in Washington.
