Colgate extends Fabuloso brand via liquid dish soap

Colgate-Palmolive Co. is extending its Fabuloso brand into a dishwashing liquid with test-marketing underway in the Dallas and Memphis, Tenn., areas. Colgate began selling Fabuloso hard surface cleaner, a Mexican brand, in the U.S. in 1996 along with its Mexican-produced Suavitel fabric softener. Lemon and "dawn scent" versions of the product began shipping late last month, according to Leemis Marketing, a Chicago tracking service. True North Communication's Siboney USA, New York, handles Fabuloso.


David Murray joins Univision Communications as VP-sales development and marketing from his post as director of sales at Tribune Co.-owned Fox affiliate WTIC in Hartford, Conn.
