Pennzoil to break Hispanic campaign in Feb.

Pennzoil-Quaker State Co. in February will break original Spanish-language radio and TV ads for its Pennzoil brand motor oil products via newly hired agency Cruz/Kravetz: Ideas, Los Angeles. Cruz will work under the direction of Pennzoil's agency of record, GSD&M, Austin, Texas. Amistad Media Group, Austin, handles its media.

Montemayor y Asociados Advertising, San Antonio, Texas, announced the promotions: Linda Aguayo becomes VP-account supervisor on DaimlerChrysler; Tony Aldana to VP-account supervisor for SSP's Circle K stores and Taco Cabana; Rebecca Fernandez to VP-account supervisor on Heilig-Meyers, SaborMex Foods and White Wings Brand; Jessica Campos to VP-promotions; Mike Cevallos to VP-broadcast creative; and Cheryl Montez-Rimes to VP-media.
