Kevin Tromp had been at FCB Direct, Chicago, just a month before he assumed the new post of senior VP-chief operating officer. Though he now has more responsibility over the bottom line, Mr. Tromp still sees his main responsibilities as handling client services and nurturing the talent and momentum of current employees. "We need to maintain a creative standard in the agency while improving the other resources that support the creative product like the marketing sciences and the strategic planning group," Mr. Tromp says.
