Jerry Schillinger, the new CEO of list brokerage and management company Direct Media, Greenwich, Conn., realizes that in today's economy clients are more concerned than ever about maximizing their returns on investment. He hopes "to direct the company so it continues to be on the cutting edge of doing everything possible to help direct marketers and mailers to build their businesses in a real cost-effective manner," he said. The means to that end, he thinks, is technology. "Where Direct Media can really have an impact on the industry is through technology," he said. "I have very specific plans to advance Direct Media's technology to help the customers do their jobs smarter and easier."
