As the Chicago Association of Direct Marketing's new president, Mitchell Lieber is focusing attention on the convergence of e-commerce and direct marketing. The association this year will launch a series of teleconference seminars in which participants follow a power point presentation online. "Increasingly, clicks-and-bricks companies are doing direct marketing," Mr. Lieber says. "On the brick side, it's increasingly how companies reach their customers, and on the click side, e-commerce is direct marketing with the capability for real-time feedback."
