Robert Dallas believes his background in traditional list management and direct marketing will help him position e-mail marketing company OPT-IN, Boca Raton, Fla., as a partner not only for marketers but also for list brokers. As exec VP, Mr. Dallas will introduce new products such as eRM, a turnkey newsletter system for list brokers. "If there's anything wrong with the opt-in e-mail business, it's the fact that there aren't enough traditional list people in it," he says. "We are trying to maintain a good list reputation so that the brokers who want to use us don't feel they're going to be undercut; we recognize their role in the industry."
