BlueLight.com joined the throng of e-tailers offering free shipping upgrades to entice shoppers to place their holiday gift orders online.
America Online said the popularity of its new AOL 6.0 service helped fuel membership growth beyond the 26 million subscriber milestone. AOL 6.0 now accounts for 35% of all user sessions.
TV Guide Online (www.tvguide.com), launched several site enhancements, including an improved "Show Pages" feature, the expansion of "Close-up" boxes and listings, and the ability by users to customize listings. Enhanced features connect relevant features, listings and stories, as well as new links to the TV Guide store that will enable users to purchase merchandise relevant to that show.
