AstraZeneca PLC, the new pharmaceutical company formed from the merger of Astra AB of Sweden and Zeneca Group of the U.K., will run ads in five major newspapers June 2 heralding its first official day of business. The ads will feature a new logo and the tagline "A new force in world pharmaceuticals." Ads will appear in The Wall Street Journal, The New York Times, Washington Post, Philadelphia Inquirer and the Wilmington (Del.) News-Journal.
