Nokia Mobile Phones, Irving, Texas, inked a three-year deal with the Indianapolis Motor Speedway to become the exclusive mobile phone of the Indy 500 and Brickyard 400 races. Nokia also is sponsor of the Nokia Sugar Bowl.

Toshiba of Canada, Toronto, is reviewing its account, after more than four years with Communique Group. Communique acquired Toshiba agency Promanad Communications in 1998. The incumbent reportedly will fight to keep the account.
