LinkExchange has announced WebCensus, an Internet demographic survey.

SportsLine USA, the publisher of CBS SportsLine, has agreed to acquire GolfWeb in an estimated $15 million stock deal. GolfWeb will operate as a wholly owned subsidiary of SportsLine USA, under Tim Harrington, who will continue as GolfWeb general manager.

FieldMedia, a publishing consultancy and research company, and InteReach, a national Internet service provider, are teaming to offer publishing companies the ability to act as a virtual ISP for subscribers. Subscribers who sign up with a participating publishing company will always go to the publisher's customized default page that will link directly to the publisher's Web site. For every subscriber that joins, the publisher will receive a referral fee from the ISP.

European investment bank Deutsche Morgan Grenfell appointed T3 Media its interactive agency of record. T3 Media will be integrating DMG's product offerings into its site, as well as developing an intranet for the company.

Internet Innovations, a Fort Lauderdale, Fla., interactive agency, is launching IA2, an interactive Web marketing tool. Internet Innovations specializes in small and midsize businesses and demographic ad targeting.
