New York Web agency Rare Medium is opening an office in Los Angeles. Shawn Gold, director of business development, will oversee the satellite office, which will share Mattel, Nestle and other accounts with Rare Medium, New York.

San Francisco-based interactive agency Studio Archetype is expanding internationally for the first time, opening offices in Brazil and Australia. Rob Debelle and Flavio Constantino will head up the Australian and Brazilian offices, respectively.
