Internet music broadcaster TheDJ.com closed its third round of financing. Investors are London-based venture capital company Arts Alliance, International Data Group's IDG Ventures, New York investment bank Allen & Co., Seattle venture capital company Phoenix Partners and Edward A. Bennett of Bennett Media Collaborative. TheDJ.com did not disclose how much it raised in the funding effort.

Yahoo! is now offering insurance service content online through a deal with InsWeb. Users can comparison shop and get quotes on homeowner, renter, health, life and car insurance; however, actual sign-up has to take place offline because the government still won't recognize digital signatures. The service is available at www.insweb.com or at quote.yahoo.com or insurance.yahoo.com.

Former Time Warner executive John Missale is launching his own consulting and technology company called Rant Technology, specializing in digital asset management systems for advertising, TV, publishing, film and Internet industries.
